From the North (Approaching via M1 / Wakefield / Leeds)

  • Head south on the M1 motorway
  • Exit at Junction 38 (Woolley Edge / Barnsley North)
  • At the roundabout, take the A637 toward Barnsley
  • Follow the A637 south into Barnsley, continuing toward the town centre
  • At Barnsley town centre, join the A628 Pontefract Road heading east
  • Continue along Pontefract Road, the BHF Priory Centre is on your left

From the South (Approaching via M1 / Sheffield / Rotherham)

  • Head north on the M1 motorway
  • Exit at Junction 36 (Birdwell / Barnsley South)
  • At the roundabout, take the A61 north toward Barnsley town centre
  • Follow the A61 through Hoyland and into Barnsley
  • At Barnsley town centre, join the A628 Pontefract Road heading east
  • Continue along Pontefract Road, the BHF Priory Centre is on your right
